13 Mar The Power of play
A power of PLAY is fully embraced here at Chantel’s Kindergarten. Every aspect of our day celebrates the powerful learning that play promotes. We believe that children learn through a play based curriculum that encourages learning processes to take place. As children engage in experiences that promote play it allows children to investigate, question, role pay, critically analyse, they learn to negotiate different roles and responsibilities, problem solve ways to complete tasks and make shared decisions. Children learn to count through play, they learn to communicate and take part in two-way communication, children even learn to share, take turns and listen to one another as they enhance their social and pro-social skills. Play allows for wonderful opportunities to take place within the centre environment.
